Toshiba have supplied a BIOS update with WinPhlash v188.8.131.52 (Running on Win7 32bit).Every time I run it it hangs on the "Flash new bios" stage quoting a Error Code: 144.This error It's not a battery issue as this is the 2nd battery I've tried. It seems that the screen problem only happens if it's running from adaptor without a charged battery in. I was told on a dell forum that to get rid of the warning i should upgrade the bios, but that is where i'm having trouble.I click on the upgrade and Install chipset drivers should take care of that problem too. I plugged my fully-charged Mini 9 into a power socket and the flashing process went off without a hitch. Was the information in this document helpful?

Resolution: The File "WinPhlash.exe" must be executed explicitly with admin privileges to make sure that the BIOS update gets all the needed privileges to run properly. So I downloaded it onto my machine from their support center and started the flashing process.
