I went back to a previous back up image I had taken but it still continued. When I type cmd in the search box, left crtl+shif it just closes and nothing happens... If I use Run... Wmi Event Id 10 0x80041010 I have to do this little ritual each time I log on so I don't get freezes.

I have now determined that it is one of the Seagate HDD's. But I got this down to where i > can run my pc for a while without it shutting itself off. Ran that - took a while - and, touch wood, my laptop has now run for 3 hours with no BSOD. I will wait until something happens.
