IBM do not specifically recommend any one product, although one popular freeware product (used by many customers) is '7-Zip'. I need to unzip the files in windows folders, then FTP them to smarty folders in the server. It downloads the file (you can either save to disk or open with Winzip), but the file will not open. Basically avoid using WinZIP for anything as there are far better programs out there and most are free. *shrug* Worked flawlessly for me.
Same problem, basically. 7 Zip Download Log in or register to post comments Comment #2 matteo CreditAttribution: matteo commented February 23, 2005 at 3:46pm This is not related to the module. I have the same problem to extract the homedir.tar in windows xp and windows vista. navigate here I also tried to get the documentation, but it seemed to have the same name as the module itself. WinZip shows that the tgz- > file consists of one tar-file, but cannot open it. > Because the original .tgz is correct, Mozilla does something wrong. Try right clicking on the link to the file and choose 'save link as' then, onec saved, open it with Winzip.
Comment 4 Pieter Poorthuis 2002-07-03 13:13:10 PDT the problem only occurs when WinZip is triggered as a helper application. If you delete the access-logs symlink before making the backup you should be able to extract it on windows.
