Xcom Enemy Unknown Kernelbase.dll
When I was playing single player an error message came up saying something about "Ran out of video memory! The only way I could fix it was to remove Enemies Within. I do have an internal card as well; I also noticed recently that when I run dxdiag, it seems to recognize my generic intel integrated graphics card and not my radeon, From them you should see that most problems rise from pointing the Long War version to the wrong game path. http://uciforum.org/xcom-enemy/xcom-enemy-unknown-error-kernelbase-dll.html
But now after patch I keep crashing when trying to play mp. Update your video driver to the latest stable version If it crashes again, open up the Event Viewer and try to find the error log. Doing so enabled me to access the game for the first time since I've had it installed! What's New?

- I guess the game was switching to the integrated card instead of using the Radeon, and this forces it to use the Radeon all the time.
- For Cptdread you have an error in igdumd32.dll, which is interesting because that is a intel driver, by change do you a radeon plus and built in video card ?

Earlier when I was playing, I was able to shoot down a UFO, so not sure why it is happening now. When it stops it give me a genaric paragraph about finding solutions etc. Download the appropriate Generic Intel HD Graphics driver from the website and save for use later (I recommend on the desktop since it's easiest to get to quickly.)2. I can just sit at the menu and after a minute it'll crash.
After taking it apart and reapplying thermal passed im up and running again Reply With Quote 10-11-2012 #30 madmaxbtd View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Junior Member Join Date Oct Exit steam, manually re-install all the redist packages. 2. This is because "C:\Program Files" is "protected" as a special case by the OS and it is not worth trying to work around that protection. If #2 happens I will make a 3rd attempt to open EW After reading some of the links you gave me.
If Windows is still reporting the program stopped working, you have a controlled application failure, which means there should be an Eventlog entry. ive been researching up and down trying to figure out whats wrong but i seem to keep coming up blank. This is the error log I'm recieving. The error message gives not clues.
Yes. Game still won't even start at all, there's not even a single application error event log from XCOM. This is not a driver issue. EventID.net is a subscription service that has a database of such errors, and the publicly available list for this error can be seen here.
This is a bug. have a peek at these guys Note the warning to backup your original "steamapps" folder as a precaution. Back up XCOM using the steam function, so you don't have to redownload it to install. The "fault offset" location may help them pin it down. -Dubious- Back to top #7 peepsin Posted 21 June 2014 - 06:47 AM peepsin Stranger Members 2 posts Hi, I've recently

Some more specific details (such as which platform and OS you are using, and any Windows Eventlog entries or their equivalent) as to how it is failing will be needed. I remember some problems with that.

Please read the wiki "Basic Guide to installing mods" article, especially the linked articles in the "Environments" section. If its a Blue screen error message, then you need to disable the auto reboot so you can get a note of the error message to google it, if its a
If you accepted the default game install location (which is to "C:\Program Files"), that will cause you a lot of grief not only with XCOM but any and all games in I purchased the Digital complete version of xcom which has both EU and EW and all the trimmings. Also, I am not using steam. I suggest you try the last one first.
Next go into your steam account, click on library RIGHT click on xcom properties -> local files -> verify integrity Try again Let us know how it goes Reply With Quote Yes, please elaborate!
